We purchased 4 $50 cross vine plants and within 40 days one had died; I was told that I could buy a warranty for $50 and they would replace the vine but their warranty is only 30 days. It took that long to make sure it did not survive as it was not healthy and we gave it a chance. They will not stand by their product and they will not replace the vine unless I buy the warranty.

This is the second time I purchased a tree from Brighter Blooms. Don't know why I tried them again, the first tree I ordered arrived dead, so they sent me a second one.
That one died soon after as well. So, stupid me, I tried ordering another tree about 1 year later.
This tree also arrived very dry and sick. I tried to save it, but have slowly watched it completely die over the past month.
Preferred solution: Nothing...just want people to know what kind of product they will get if they purchase from this company.

I feel taken advantage of by this company! They advertise trees based on their pictures and description, but sent you tiny plants.
I paid about $17 per tree and what I received is not worth half of what I paid. I contacted customer service and sent them photos as requested. I never heard from them again.I advise you to go to your local hardware stores so you can see what you are buying.
I was able to find trees four times bigger than what these people sent for only a couple of dollars more. Lesson learned.

Verified ReviewerFailed to honor warranty
We bought a Korean Lilac tree last summer. The website CLEARLY said 1-year warranty if the tree does not flower.
When the tree arrived (3 weeks late btw), it looked in bad shape. I called them right away as it looked to be a bit rotten. They kept pacifying me saying keep watering, the tree was ok. They kept telling me on the phone, it was covered for a year.
It's been 9 months and this spring, we got absolutely NOTHING coming out. It's a dead tree.
I call customer service. Lo and behold, there is no such 1-year warranty all of a sudden, when we need it finally.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Poor customer service
Last winter I purchased 3 orange trees. I potted them and set them up in my greenhouse.
One tree died within a few week another two months later. I called and emailed and never got any satisfaction.

SCAMMED!
HORRIBLE. I paid $80 each for 2 gardenia bushes that were advertised as the rare and difficult to find Four Seasons gardenias.
Their photo and description fit the cultivar. I ordered them to fill in some empty spots in a row I already have. As soon as I opened the package, I KNEW that these were not Four Seasons gardenias. Everything about them (blooms, growth habit, leaves) was different.
I contacted them for a full refund to return the bushes. They didn't even deny that what they sent is NOT Four Seasons gardenias, and they offered a 15% return for me to keep the plants which I DID NOT WANT. I know for a fact that this was no mistake on their part because I received the same plants from them last year (they died by spring). Experts confirmed that these bushes are in fact gardenia Veitchii which is easy to find and common.They'd be worth maybe $40 each.
After emailing with them several times, I decided to go to American Express to get my money back. After they reviewed my evidence, AMEX returned all of my money including shipping.
THIS IS A SCAM they are running. They know full well that these are NOT Four Seasons gardenias for which they are charging a ridiculous premium for!!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!
Gosh! I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing from this company.
Normally I would shop around at all the local places to purchase things for our yard, but we needed 60 trees and trying to shop for those during a pandemic was not ideal. I was aware of the height, but never in my wildest dreams, was I expecting the tiniest, what looked like a single branch, of a tree for the price we paid. I could seriously cry. We have saved for this project and feel completely ripped off.
The company is no longer responding to my emails in regards to a resolution.
I happened to be at Walmart and saw the same tree that was HUGE in comparison for only $9.99, which is almost half of what we paid per tree and they come with a one year warranty for free.
Do not order from here, especially if you are ordering in bulk.
This has been the worst experience ever! It sounds dramatic, but this really was a project we had saved for and we made a huge mistake going this route and trusting Brighter Blooms.
Received Black Ice Plumb Tree and was dissapointed with size for Price! Can get same thing for third the Price at Home Depot!
Paid $177.00 for a 6ft $39.00 Black Ice Plum Tree! That arrived Dried Leaves and poorly packed root base!
Ordered via Fast growing Trees! but received from Brighter Bloom!...They must own that company Too! anyway ,they must be splitting the cost of the Tree and Profit! and trying to make up for recession and Covid-19 customers downward spending!
and small bag of rocket root was just some top soil with some regular fertilizer in it!
This is my last time purchasing anything from fast growing trees! with previous purchases of a Lemon tree Died and now this!

Did not send all my plants (missing my lemon tree) after was free on my packing slip for spending over $300. Called sent emails-they never responded back!!

Love my Rhododendron!
Just received my Lavender Rhododendron Bush and it looks very healthy! I ordered the 3 gallon and I can start to already see some little bulbs.
The leaves are green and beautiful. I ordered it on a Tuesday and received it Friday AM.
Great service! Will definitely order again.
Low Quality Plants, Hard to return items, Overpriced items
The pictures looks so much better than the actual plants! This is one of the few online purchase regrets that i have.
I've spent $1400 on about 14-16 plants thinking that i would get a large and high quality trees.
The ones that i got are baby trees ($50/piece - same tree was $18 something in home depot and $24 in Armstrong). Still trying to return some of these trees.

Requests for relacement plants ignored
plants ordered in 2/17 -- in oct 4 of 6 dead- NO RESPONSE--again 1-18 - request refund or replace--AGAIN NO RESPONSE -- why what a miracle in 3/19 it is too late as guarantee is only 1 year so client paid for 6 and has 2 healthy plants-- contatcts at least a dozen - respond to their email , another rep answers then today weare told if not multiple requests it would NOT have happened-- that is b.s(BAD SERVICE!!!) - however same client who asked for plant replacement has now gone to another source for 10-15 houses in Charleston, SC with a first time budget of $15000 minimum- THEIR LOSS- OUR LEARNING EXPERIENCE_ DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Don't waste your time or money
Don’t waste your time or money – purchased an Avacado tree couple of weeks back for my wife’s birthday. At the urging of the CSR, bought the biggest, most mature tree they offered – to ensure we’d enjoy at least the short term experience of a beautiful house plant for a few months.
For $120, we received a 4 foot stick, with 3 branches, and a half dozen leaves, all bunched on one side – the kind of plant any decent nursery would just throw away. When I contacted Brighter Blooms through their “contact us” link, the response we got a few days later – from Shawn G. at Fastgrowingtrees.com – was “Give it time. It’s a young tree.
Feel free to call us”. But no phone number.
When I started reading all their negative feedback from others buyers, I knew I’d been had. Learn from this.

You probably should not compare Home Depot nursery products with those from a "real, live" nursery. The quality of trees/shrubs are not the same.
But, if you're happy with Home Depot/Lowes nursery products, stick with them. Give me a qualified nursery every time - even though I might pay a little more.
